Portland Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash Sunday Night Near Eagle Creek

A Portland man was killed Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 224 near Eagle Creek in northern Clackamas County. Oregon State Police say the fatal collision occurred at approximately 7:32 p.m. near the intersection of 224 and Highway 211.

Investigators say 37-year-old Aleksandr Sukhoy was driving westbound in a Toyota Camry when he crossed the center line for unknown reasons a Toyota Rav, operated by 29-year-old Haley Hubbard, from Eagle Creek.

Sukhoy was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel. Hubbard and her passenger, Josh Hubbard, age 30, also from Eagle Creek, were both transported to area hospitals with serious injuries.

The investigation is ongoing. OSP was assisted by ODOT, Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office and Clackamas Fire.
