Clackamas Community College (CCC) will host the work of artist Ben Rosenberg Feb. 18-March 26 in the Alexander Gallery.
“Fun di Volt: From the Vault” features a collection of never-before-seen paintings and drawings by the artist. Rosenberg finds inspiration in his everyday life. His works include imagery and references to his home, his pets and his collection of 1940s movie posters to create large-scale compositions.
Rosenberg is a Portland-based artist. His work has been featured in exhibition spaces throughout Oregon including Augen Gallery, The Oregon Jewish Museum, PDX Gallery Projects Window and Atelier 6000 Print Studio and Gallery.
This exhibition is free and open to the public. An informal reception talk will be held Wednesday, Feb. 26, noon-1:30 p.m., at the Alexander Gallery. The artist will speak about his work at 1 p.m.
The Alexander Gallery is located in Niemeyer Center on the Oregon City campus, 19600 Molalla Ave., and is open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., with the exception of campus holidays.
The Canby Now Podcast is dedicated to the radical idea that news is not a product and should be free for all. Ironically, for this model to survive, we do need the (voluntary) support of our community. Find out more about how you can help sustain the work of the Canby Now Podcast for as little as $1 a month at canbynowpod.com/support. Thanks!
