Local Exchange Student at Canby High School Seeks New Host Family

“Sawasdee!” This is the traditional greeting from Thailand. And there is a wonderful exchange student from Thailand currently attending Canby High School who really wants to say “Sawasdee!” to you and your family!

According to local coordinators for the nonprofit Council on International Educational Exchange, Krittapat, nicknamed “Talay,” is a 16 year old boy from Thailand who is in need of a host family for the second semester of the school year.

Talay has a kind and generous personality, likes to travel and meet new people, learn new things and do sports. In his free time, he likes to read, watch movies, and practice Muay Thai.

He is a fan of history, military stories and games, movies, and comics. He also likes to study and read stories about politics, business, technology, and world news.

Perhaps you or someone you know would like to host Talay until he returns home to Thailand at the end of the school year. There’s no time to lose, as Talay needs to find a new host family before the end of the month. If you refer a family that ends up hosting Talay, the Exchange Council will thank you with $100.
